Dr. Joshua Flinn is a native Floridian and was born at Cape Canaveral Hospital. Prior to attending Chiropractic College, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in 2002. In 2005, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer Chiropractic College Florida.
Dr. Flinn's chiropractic experience initially began in high school while participating in various sports activities. Based on that experience, he has an interest in assisting local athletic programs in the treatment of their students' athletic injuries. Most recently he has been assisting with both Merritt Island High School and Merritt Island Christian School athletic programs.
Dr. Flinn also enjoys working in the community through various public health education programs. He often lectures regarding proper ergonomics, automobile safety and reducing associated whiplash injuries, pain relief, and overuse injuries.
In an effort to improve his knowledge, clinical experience, and to better serve his patients needs, he has acquired several relevant certifications. He has received an advance certification in the treatment of whiplash/auto accident injuries, biomechanics and traumatology*. He has also been trained in the use of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Physical Impairment*. Dr. Flinn is also a certified instructor of the "Protect Your Back Seminar" sponsored by the American Red Cross.*
